Nick Bonney began his creative career over 15 years ago in the newspaper industry in Sydney. Soon curiosity to see-the-world became more important than creating another B&W ad, so he set sail and ended up at a record company in London. Working for artists such as Groove Armada, Back Street Boys and Britney Spears (yes he admits to these...), he got a wealth of design and branding experience.
Not finished with his music fix he moved to Mumbai in India and worked as a senior designer for MTV and Channel V Asia for 12 months.
Back in Sydney he then spent 10 years working for big multinational agencies such as M&C Saatchi and Clemenger BBDO as a creative lead on large accounts and seeing his work awarded at all the major creative award shows around the world.
The 18 months that followed, Nick lead the creative direction and international expansion of tech startup Simple Technologies, a leading SAAS company that delivers a marketing performance platform to worldwide enterprise companies.
His art direction, design, photography and writing have featured in magazines such as Wallpaper UK, Ministry of Sound, Directory UK and Australian Creative.
Nick has also launched and run his own clothing label (YoBo Clothing), been an AWARD School Tutor, Vivid Masterclass Mentor and guest speaker at creative schools and universities in Australia and abroad.
